Julie Condon practises in all areas of criminal law. She is an experienced trial and appellate advocate, and accepts briefs in all jurisdictions in Australia.
Julie has experience in public international law, having appeared as defence co-counsel at the International Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in the Hague, from 2006-2007. She has an enduring interest in human rights, and has regularly assisted Reprieve Australia [now the Capital Punishment Justice Project]. Julie was also a member of the legal team that secured the liberty of Australian national, Yoshe Taylor, whose conviction was overturned in Cambodia in 2019.
