Anna was called to the Bar in 2022. Anna maintains a diverse practice and accepts briefs in a wide range of criminal and civil matters. She has particular expertise in criminal law and is regularly briefed on behalf of both the prosecution and defence in complex matters including national security, white collar crime and appeals.
Anna also appears in inquests and inquiries, both as counsel assisting and on behalf of interested parties. She also has expertise in health law, primarily in the professional disciplinary jurisdiction.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Anna was a Senior Federal Prosecutor with the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions, where she prosecuted a wide range of offences including in the areas of counter-terrorism, drug importations and money laundering. Prior to that, she was a solicitor at Allens Linklaters, where she specialised in commercial litigation.
Anna holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons I) and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sydney.
