Chelsea was called to the Bar in 2021 and accepts briefs to advise and appear in all areas, with particular focus on criminal law (prosecuting and defending), regulatory and civil penalty proceedings and public and administrative law.
Prior to coming to the Bar Chelsea was a Senior Federal Prosecutor with the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions. Chelsea has also previously worked as a lawyer in the Office of General Counsel at Australian Government Solicitor and as Tipstaff to the Hon. Justice Hall in the NSW Supreme Court.
Chelsea holds a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours and a Bachelor of Arts (with distinction) from the University of Newcastle, as well as a Master of Laws (with commendation) from the Australian National University.
