Mr Ginges was called to the Bar in 2004, quickly developing a busy criminal law practice. He appears for defence and the prosecution in complex criminal trials, sentence hearings and appeals, as well as before commissions of inquiry, coronial inquests and disciplinary tribunals.
Mr Ginges appears regularly in both NSW and the ACT Supreme Courts. He has appeared in trials for accused of serious offences including murder, manslaughter, drug importations, sexual offences and driving offences occasioning death. He has appeared for the Crown and accused in complex corporate and white collar fraud trials, and in over 40 appeals for the Crown and defence in the NSW Court of Criminal Appeal, the ACT Court of Appeal and the High Court.
