Peerce accepts briefs in all areas of law particularly public law, criminal law and inquests.
Prior to coming to the bar, Peerce practiced as a Solicitor Advocate with the Coronial Inquest Unit of Legal Aid NSW. Peerce was also a solicitor with the Aboriginal Legal Service NSW/ACT and with the Legal Aid NSW Human Rights Team. He was also the Associate to the Hon. Justice Perry in the Federal Court of Australia.
Peerce was also previously the Private Secretary to the Attorney General and Solicitor General of England and Wales, where he had oversight of their criminal justice portfolios.
Peerce holds a Master of Laws from Harvard Law School where he was a Fulbright Scholar, a Master of Public Policy with distinction from Oxford University where he was a School of Government Public Service Scholar, and a Bachelor of Laws (First Class honours) and Bachelor of Arts (First Class honours) from the University of New South Wales.
